Long, Bird & Noach (founders of PEAS) were separated on the 1st anniversary of PEAS. If you look hard enough on the internoodles you can find video evidence of the different celebrations.
I (Bird) was in Japan. Kyoto to be precise. I'd been in Japan for 2 weeks and it was getting to the end of my trip. PEAS anniversary coincided with my travel companion Finn's anniversary with her boyfriend (they are older by 2 years), we went to a restaurant in Gion. I had soup noodles, with no word of a lie, a poached egg in it. It was exceptional. I don't have a photo because my camera battery died.
Sadly, I was also unable to capture the delight on Finn's face when she turned round to see two Geiko scurrying out of the very same restaurant. It made her day, I'm pretty sure it made her trip and if I'm not mistaken her year.
Me, I was happy with the egg.
